There is a tower that is struck by a lightning bolt. The Tower is a symbol of power and grandeur and it depicts the hope for the future. A tower is also considered a phallic symbol. Light symbolizes knowledge and wisdom and a sudden strike by lightning bolt means sudden awareness and destruction of ignorance. It symbolizes a sudden revelation. The grey clouds in the background show short-lived bad events and the black color symbolize power, strength, and aggression. A crown is blown off the top of the tower. Crown is a symbol of power and authority and it shows that there is a loss of power, authority, and status. Male and female figures are falling off the tower. Their blue dress depicts, trust, wisdom, and confidence but nothing is helping them. They are falling headfirst and there are rocks at the bottom of the card that also shows difficult times. There are 22 flames in the background. These flames represent 22 cards of major arcana and also there are 22 letters in the Hebrew alphabet. In the Kabbalah, there are 22 paths between the Sephirot.

Mars is fast, instinctive, rash, aggressive, and angry just like the Tower tarot card.
